If you are looking for a nice traditional Japanese dinner, look no further than Kokuban. Find a seat at the long wooden tables or reserve a table for two or four in the dining area in back. The specialty of Kokuban is their rice noodle dishes and their terrific gyoza (fried meat dumplings). The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing with attentive servers throughout.
We’ve eaten here a handful of times already in Brussels and have gotten different entres every time. However, we’ve always started off with their gyoza since it is a delicious treat. If you are also looking for a spicy dish, don’t be afraid to ask the servers to include more heat to any dish.
The restaurant gets quite busy after 20:00 every night so try to make a reservation and not wait in line for an hour.
